Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SubmissionBuddy, operated by High Wire Development LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or sending traffic to a SubmissionBuddy endpoint, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service

SubmissionBuddy is a form ingestion and notification service. You point a form on your own website at an endpoint we provide; we store the submission durably, process it, notify you by email, and make it available in a dashboard. We are a form-processing backend — not a form builder, not a CMS, and not a general-purpose backend platform.

Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating an account, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account, including submissions received by forms you've configured.

Acceptable use

You may not use SubmissionBuddy to:

• Collect, process, or transmit unlawful content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
• Send spam, or use SubmissionBuddy's infrastructure to originate unsolicited bulk messages.
• Collect personal data from people you don't have the right to collect it from, or in a way that violates applicable law.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, or abuse-prevention measures, or otherwise interfere with the service's operation for other customers.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

Plans and quotas

SubmissionBuddy is offered on the following plans, each with hard, enforced monthly submission quotas:

Submissions beyond your plan's monthly quota are rejected at the endpoint (HTTP 429) until the quota resets or you upgrade. Plan features (such as CAPTCHA, auto-response, and team members) are gated by plan and may return an error if you attempt to use a feature your plan doesn't include.

Billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard; cancellation stops future billing but doesn't retroactively refund the current billing period unless required by law. Plan changes (upgrades or downgrades) take effect according to your Stripe subscription's proration and renewal behavior at the time of the change.

Service availability

SubmissionBuddy is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not currently offer a service level agreement (SLA) or an uptime guarantee. We work to keep the service reliable, but we make no warranty, express or implied, that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, High Wire Development LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use SubmissionBuddy, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

You may stop using SubmissionBuddy and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, fail to pay for a paid plan, or if we discontinue the service, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your stored submission data remains subject to this policy's retention terms until deleted.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
